CastleRock is a popular crag for outdoor educators to use for instruction purposes. The Lower Tier in particular is a preferred area as the climbs have pull cords to quickly assist in the setting up of top ropes.
Keeping in line with industry standards, CastleRock Adventure prides itself in setting best industry practise at this crag. To minimise risk to crag users CastleRock has implemented regular maintenance programmes and external auditing of the Abseil and Flying Fox sites and the Rock Climbing anchor systems on the lower tier.
All instructed or guided groups are required to book use of the crag through the office as the crag can be very busy at certain times of the year ....and we want you to be able to enjoy your visit.
Frequent users of the crag are required to have an account set up with CastleRock for billing purposes.
