CastleRock Adventure takes group bookings only for both Lodge, Woolshed and Camping.

CastleRock Lodge

24 Beds:
Monday to Thursday excluding public holidays
1 night $700.
2 or more nights $600 per night.

Friday to Sunday and public holidays
1 night $860
2 or more nights $730 per night

18 Beds:
Monday to Thursday excluding public holidays
1 night $600.
2 or more nights $520 per night.

Friday to Sunday and public holidays
1 night $760
2 or more nights $640 per night.

Lodge Day Use
Full Day: 9am - 5pm $550
Half Day: 4 hrs until 5pm $300

CastleRock Lodge is a beautifully renovated homestead with magnificent views of the CastleRock rock-climbing crag. There is a large Rimu kitchen and lounge room, two showers and toilets, laundry with washer and dryer, internet access, guest telephone, a tennis court (racquets/balls provided), barbeque, outdoor pool & spa.
Bed linen is provided, towels are available at $3pp per stay.

Rooms:
Perimeter Dorm - 10 single beds
BSX room - 1 double and 3 single beds
Freeride Room - 1 double and 1 single

Woolshed - 19 people max.

Rate - $200 per night.
The woolshed is situated three minutes from the Lodge. It has a basic kitchen, shower and toilet.
There are 19 mattresses that can be spread on the floor Marae style.
NB Groups booked into Woolshed do not have access to spa, pool, tennis court etc.

Camping

Rate $12 per person.
The campsite is located just before the Woolshed and is ideal as an overflow for groups of more than 19.

Payments

A deposit of 50% is due at the time of booking, the remaining amount is due upon vacating.
NB If the deposit is not received within 2 weeks of your booking, the booking will not stand.

Catering

We use the services of our top quality local restaurant Out in the Styx for catering, they do magnificent food. Meals are delivered & all crockery & cutlery is here. Ph (07)872 4505.

Another option is Maggy’s Catering Company in Hamilton who also are very popular amongst our guests serving ‘food with flair’ - Phone (07)846 6185.

We also have Excel Catering Ltd (Te Awamutu) who have delighted our guests with generous servings of great food - Ph 07 870 6447.

Activities

CastleRock can provide professionally run activity programmes flexible to cater for the many variables of weather, group receptivity and ability, time frames and specific group requests.

Cancellation policy: Our cancellation policy on all group bookings is 2+ weeks notice - full refund, under 2 weeks notice - no refund on deposit.

Weather Cancellation: As far as the activities go, most can be done in the rain. The only exception is the Flying Fox which is wind dependant and a safety call will be made on the day the activity is to take place. Our programmes are flexible to accomodate this and can be revised if need be. There is no refund on the deposit for a weather cancellation.
